An excellent custom itasha for our client! Thanks to IG:@cyraxsounds for the commission! I’ve been working on this design for two weeks now, and I’m thrilled it’s finally ready to show to everyone. The client’s car is a Mazda 2, but since our model library had a similar Mazda 3, I used that for the design demonstration.
Unlike the official artwork used previously, this time I chose a fan art piece featuring Ellen giving a “gomi” look. Her disdainful expression is really striking (I also intentionally lowered the angle of the signboard—did you notice?) Ellen’s tail is an amazing decorative element, so I extracted it from the official art and adjusted it to the right angle. I believe it created an excellent chemistry in the overall design, especially in the composition of the hood.
Actually, during the process, I came up with two discarded versions. Maybe I’ll have a chance to share them with you all in the future for some learning and discussion. The recent projects have received overwhelming support, which makes me really happy. I hope everyone will continue to give more compliments in the future～Thank you!
