Big thanks to my Canadian client for the commission! Wow, the BMW i8—this might just be the most expensive car I’ve worked on so far! This car is absolutely amazing. As soon as I worked on it, I was completely captivated by its sleek, streamlined shape. The design just flowed effortlessly, and I quickly came up with a side graphic design that really complements this i8’s natural curves. The body lines of this car are already stunning, and I gotta tell you guys working on it was such a breeze.
Originally, like many other GSR designs, the car had a lot of logos. However, the car owner didn’t want too many unfamiliar logos on the design, so almost all of them were removed (appreciate my client for letting me put my logo on it). Now the car looks super clean and fresh.
One thing worth mentioning is that the car has quite a few concave surfaces, which makes wrapping it a bit tricky. I’m currently working with a local wrap shop in Canada to make sure everything goes smoothly. Hopefully, we’ll get it all done and executed perfectly in the near future!
